What is simca vedette?

Simca Vedette was a car model produced by French automaker Simca from 1954 to 1961. It was initially developed as a luxury car, and featured a spacious cabin and distinctive styling. It was powered by a V8 engine, which was quite advanced for its time, and had a top speed of around 90 mph.

Over the years, the Simca Vedette underwent several updates and changes, including a shift from a V8 to a smaller V6 engine in 1956. The car's styling was also updated, with a more streamlined and modern look introduced in 1957.

Despite its popularity in France, the Simca Vedette struggled to compete with other European luxury cars, such as the Mercedes-Benz 220 and the Jaguar Mark V. It was eventually replaced by the Simca Ariane in 1961.

Today, the Simca Vedette is considered a classic car, and is highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts.
